WOW!! Three years has passed and its hard to believe!! I cut Kieran's mohawk off today and when he turned around to look back at me I swear to goodness it was YOU!!! He is you all over again!! Kylah started junior high and loves it....Just wanted to tell you that we think about you all the time and miss you like crazy!!!!

~ Hello Again ~ Went to our third annual Donor Sabbath Ceremony last night. 9 of us went this time. (me, Nick, Kylah, Kieran, Cassie, Billy, Chaddy, John and Jennifer.) The music came on for the second song they sang and Kieran looked up at me and said, Mommy, this is the song on Daddys Page!!! As I listened I realized what he was saying...our wedding song was being sang!!!! The kids must visit your page more often than I thought, because he knew the song before they even started the words. A 14 yr old boy sang it, his dad was an organ/tissue donor. He had an awesome voice. He sang two more songs last night too...one by Lonestar and Kieran sang it the whole way out of the church. It was cute. The ceremony was beautiful....as usual. When your picture went up Kylah's eyes lit up and she looked at me. She was trying to be tough....but when I saw Billy, Cassie and Chaddy crying, I started to cry....it just doesn't seem possible that it has been over 2 yrs already!!! Well, Just wanted to write and tell you how proud I am of the kids! Got their mid~term reports on friday and they both have all As and Bs!! Kylah is struggling a little with 4th grade math, but I got her multiplication flash cards and I think that may help. She just has a memory like her mother and freaks out when they tell her she is being timed!!! I guess she can thank me for that!! Kieran is so much like you it often drives me crazy!! Me and mom were talking and she suggested that I tell his new teacher to CHALLENGE him...he is bored! She said that you were the same way! And I believe it! He is a carbon copy of you already....wish me luck! ;o) In about 2 weeks I am going to Texas and get to see Brian!! YAY! We love and miss you more everyday! ~muah~ Love always....Sonya Jo Close

hello there! Well, tomorrow marks our 6 yr wedding anniversary....and 2 years since I have seen you and heard your voice!! What I would do to see you again....to have your smell in our haouse again! I can't begin to tell you how much the kids have changed...you are watching them, but its amazing to my eyes!!! Kieran is so much like you it is unreal!! Hey Kev, It was really weird not having you physically there the day of the wedding. I put 8 roses in the front of the church, but I could not write your name on the program so I decided to just put in memory of those who could not be with us today. I must have sat at my desk for a hour crying to whether to decide to put that on the program or not. I finally decided not too because I thought it would upset Sonya more than day seeing your name on the program. I miss you all of the time... You would have really liked Chris. He is just awesome and he loves to drink beer and tells my dad exactly what he thinks! It is hard to believe it will be 2 years next weekend. You know the most thing I miss the most is your laugh.. man what I would give to hear your laugh. I can just picture you now.. with your white tank top on.. and white k-swiss.
Hello My Love! / Sonya McCord (Wife) Wow! Just one more month and we have gone two years without seeing you or hearing your voice. The things that have happened are sometimes too much to bear! Coot was killed in a car fire, which I guess you know, I got to see the guys from work, Slim really cleaned up! His new girlfriend keeps him in line, he looked very nice. Todd is still my buddy and I can actually talk to him without crying and I see Sphilly quite often too! They are such good guys and always tell me how much they miss you! As if I don't already know! Jami gets married in just 2 days....yeah, Chris is a sucker! HAHA! Wish you could have been here to see it... The kids are still at Tanya and Josh's. Kieran spends a lot of time with Gramma Laurie...because he doesn't like listening to Aunt Tanyas rules, I think....he is pig~headed, just like another McCord I know! ;o) They come home in just 5 days! I can't wait to get them back....I miss them terribly! I passed my practical exam today for school...just have to finish up my hours and my projects and I will be finished! THE KIDS ARE IN CALIFORNIA WITH ME / TANYA FAIRBANKS (SISTER-INLAW) Sonya sent the kids to us this summer Kevin. The minute I saw Kieran walking towards me off the plane, it was as if I was seeing you once again. He's such a handsome boy. Kylah followed and she's beautiful. It was as if I had my own "Sonya and Kevin" mini's. They have changed so much in the last two years, for that's how long it has been since I've seen them. Sonya has done such a wonderful job raising them. I don't know how she wakes up every morning to face the day's challenge, because I couldn't do it. I still have a hard time accepting that you're gone. Having your children here is like having a piece of you with me. To have Sonya trust me with them is such an honor, you'd be so proud of her. I can't begin to imagine how Kylah and Kieran must feel, for they continue to speak of you with such love and happiness in their voices. They love to share their memories of you and you're so much in their heart that I can't help but cry and smile. Kieran told me that you're the brightest star in the sky, so we were so happy to see you at the ocean and the river right before we went to bed. Kieran made sure to yell out how much he misses you and that he loves you. Kieran also shared with me about the flight over here and pointed out, "We were close to Daddy in heaven". Kevin, you're forever with all of us in our hearts and memories. I'm so happy to have your children with me for the next month-and a half. It will be as if you are here with me.
